Using Data Analytics to Improve Building Operational Efficiency: Real World Examples

The session will help owners and operators “find what matters” in the vast amount of data produced by today’s smart systems as well as present real world examples.

The session will help owners and operators “find what matters” in the vast amount of data produced by today’s smart systems as well as present real world examples. Building automation systems (BAS), meters, thermostats, and smart devices are communicating about their environment and operation. Access to this data is the first step to opening up opportunities to reduce cost, and identify opportunities to enhance operations. Data is automatically analyzed from the BAS, energy, water metering systems, and smart devices to identify issues, patterns, deviations, faults and opportunities for operational improvements and cost reduction.
